Enclosure No.1.
Scheme Ordinance, 1934, I have the honour to request your
approval in accordance with section 4(1) of that Ordinance
of a Resolution which was passed by the Legislative Council
on 22nd August, 1935, authorising the expenditure of
$271,439.16.
2. A copy of the Resolution together with a copy
Enclosure No.2. of the speech with which the Colonial Treasurer introduced
Enclosure No.3.

3. In the present state of depression it is
impossible to foretell when it will be possible to proceed
with this part of the scheme, but resumption of Inland Lot
564, (shown edged blue on attached plan) was rendered
immediately necessary by the fact that the owners proposed
to reconstruct the existing block of buildings, which were
very old. very e
